Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character on ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington Ohio in order to settle with her family in Los Angeles. She was struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first acting role as Rachel's Room's lead character. After earning a Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role of Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year old Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to win. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award (with the rest of the cast) along with her. After leaving the show, Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She also appeared on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. In 2008, she played the same role in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace reprised Shannon's role on Lost for two additional episodes, which included the finale of the series. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in the episode Californianation of the 6th season. She plays Faith who is both a star-gazer and the girl in the group. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Being part of the Gyllenhaal Family she is the daughter and elder sister to the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a teenager with small role in films made by her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother in the 2001 popular film Donnie Darko. She then appeared on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her lead performances in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama), and Sherrybaby (606) Both of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. The year 2006 was the time she starred in several films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center. However, it was her role in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). In the film, her performance as Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child earned her nomination for the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. She then was in comedies and dramas such as Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 In addition to her role as a Secret Service agent, she has also appeared on screen in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). Her most recent roles were the protagonist in The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal's first film as a filmmaker and writer was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
