Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16 she portrayed the lead role in several television dramas. Her critically acclaimed role in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The other Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions.
